Paris Hilton launched her trendy clothing line in mid-August 2007, at Kitson, LA. At the event, Paris helped personally style each of her fans during her appearance. The launch of her clothing line was very successful. Additional pieces are constantly being added to her collection every month.
She was involved in the developing and designing of her dresses, T-shirts and jeans. She wanted to create a collection that would represent her style, fashion and taste for fans. She spent about a year submitting scrapbooks and approving designs.
Furthermore, she makes sure that all of her clothes are unique and perfect to wear. She also insists that her clothing line is both comfortable and affordable.
Since Paris Hilton was seventeen years old, she has been earning part of her own money by modeling. However, she has often stated that she doesn't model just for the money, but for the fun of it. Her obsession with modeling comes from her childhood. She also had always dreamed of doing photo shoots for "Guess."
Paris is always careful when it comes to choosing which designer she wants to model for. As of today, she is signed up with top modeling agencies such as Ford Models Management (New York), Models 1 Agency (London), Nous Model Management (Los Angeles), and Premier Model Management (London). Furthermore, She has walked for top fashion designers like Jasper Conran, Heatherette, Philippe Treacy and Julien MacDonald.
British designer, Julien MacDonald was so stunned and impressed by Paris when she modeled at his Macdonald show in February 2006 that he had this to say about her to the media: "Paris has been a friend of mine for a long time. She epitomises the Julien Macdonald woman - glamorous, sexy and not afraid to do things. I was thrilled that she came to model for me."
