Carolina Herrera’s program notes clarified that the S/S 2010 collection’s initialing point was the involved forms woven in Japanese baskets.
In this style were created strapless cocktail dresses with a body-con torso, over rigid petticoats and skirts.
All accessories, textures, prints were selected from Eastern sphere.
Colors are modified from natural palette of stone, beigeivory, spiced with terracotta, caramel, rose and gold.
Designer presented grating-like silhouette in linen jacquard jackets and vests in silken raffia, girthed striped, dresses with trimmed-woven leather belts, gold silk and creamy fishtail gowns with metal fancywork and crystals.
